Flat Roof & On-Roof Solar Installation with Battery Storage – South Wales
This project involved the installation of a 14kWp solar PV system with 20kWh battery storage at a residential property in South Wales. The client wanted to maximise every inch of available roof space while creating a powerful, future-proof energy system.
To achieve this, we installed a combination of both on-roof (pitched roof) and flat roof solar arrays, allowing for optimal panel positioning and maximum energy generation throughout the day.
The system consists of 32 × 440W DAS all-black solar panels, paired with a hybrid inverter and 20kWh Anker Solix battery system, delivering a highly efficient and flexible setup.
The addition of battery storage allows excess energy generated during the day to be stored and used in the evening, helping to reduce reliance on the grid and maximise savings.
